GmbH Bäckerei Technologie (German Bakery Technology) has received another large order for a customer in the Middle East. As GBT managing director Wolfgang Fuhst informs, it concerns the supply of four fully automatic flatbread plants, with an output of no fewer than 14,000 flat breads per hour.
The company from Villingen-Schwenningen in the Black Forest, Germany, is one of the leading specialists when it comes to building systems for industrial bakeries.
The specialty of the “system builder” is customized equipment. The customer identifies the product that he wants to produce, e.g. Arabic pita bread or French baguettes and GBT designs and builds an individual solution. The company, with its team of experts, can draw on decades of experience in the construction of special systems for the bakery industry.
As well as consultancy, engineering, planning and design, GBT also handles the project management, the logistics, the installation and commissioning and the service and maintenance of bread and baguette baking systems, for example, from preparing the dough, through the fermentation process, tunnel ovens, materials handling, cooling systems and right up to packaging.
The GBT-team from Lünen in Germany manufactures all the peripheral technology relating to the baking oven. This includes step final proofers, oven loading and unloading, product decapsulators, baking pan magazines, spiral conveyors, multi-day pasteurizing ovens and the complete program for crate conveying systems and equipment automation.
