Stäubli Robotics will present its latest automation solutions for the baking industry at the International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) in Las Vegas from 13 to 17 September 2025. The company will demonstrate how the integration of robotics and artificial intelligence can enhance production speed, precision and safety.
At West Hall Booth 1064, Stäubli will feature a live demonstration of the TS2-60 HE hygienic robot paired with Oxipital AI’s VX2 Vision Solution. The system will bulk-pick bread products from a bin, identify each item using vision-guided technology, and inspect them for defects. Accepted products will move to a packaging conveyor, while defective items will be diverted for further processing. Conveyor tracking via Stäubli’s VALtrack control software will complete a fully automated pick, inspect and recycle loop.
Stäubli’s HE series robots, designed for aggressive washdown environments, are widely used in food production for tasks including pick and place, inspection, sorting, cutting, slicing, portioning, decorating and palletizing. The systems are engineered for quick changeovers and compatibility with varied product types and formats, enabling bakeries to adapt rapidly to changing market demands.
The company emphasises that automation can help bakeries address labour shortages, supply chain pressures and consumer demand for healthier and more diverse products, without compromising food safety or quality.
Stäubli North America operates from facilities in Duncan, South Carolina; Queretaro, Mexico; and Novi, Michigan, providing training, technical support and 24/7 service across the region, including Canada and Puerto Rico.
