Royal DSM, a global science-based company active in health, nutrition and materials, announces that Frédéric Boned has been appointed EMEA vice president (VP) of its human nutrition and health business as of January 1.
Frédéric Boned, a Swiss and French national, has worked at DSM since 2012, and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise from a diverse working background. Before starting his career, he completed a chemical engineering degree at the Engineering School in Geneva, and earned an EMBA at the Business School of Lausanne. Frédéric first joined DSM in 2012, holding a variety of senior roles. Prior to DSM, Frédéric worked in the flavor and fragrance industries.
In his new role, Boned succeeds Dr. Gareth Barker, who has been appointed president DSM personal care and aroma ingredients. He will be responsible for providing strategic direction to help further accelerate DSM’s development. He will be reporting to Jeremy Xu, global president human nutrition and health.
Jeremy Xu says: “Frédéric has broad experience and outstanding knowledge of DSM. His proven track record in building strategic partnerships and achieving growth will no doubt help drive the Human Health & Nutrition business forward as he has done also in his previous roles within DSM.”
