Puratos acquires one of the leading bakery ingredient producers in Austria, Diamant from Werhahn Group.
Diamant also has a strong market presence in Poland and the Czech Republic, and is available throughout Central & Eastern Europe through distributors / partners under its own brand or via private label.

With more than 50 years of expertise, Diamant is headquartered in Wels, Austria, and employs more than 150 people. The company was founded 175 years ago as a diversified family business.
In 2016 and 2015, Puratos made important acquisitions including Pennant Ingredients, Bakery Future Lines or Melbourne Jam Manufacturing.
Pennant Ingredients is a large baked goods supplier for the food-service and retail markets operating in the US.
BFL (Bakery Future Lines) is an Italian family-owned company based in La Spezia (Liguria), active in B2B production of ingredients for bakers and specializing in innovating natural yeast and sourdough products.
The Australian Melbourne Jam Manufacturing dedicated to the production of fruit and patisserie fillings for artisanal and industrial customers.
