Aunt Bessie’s wins prestigious award
Family run frozen food company, Aunt Bessie’s, triumphed at the Manufacturing Excellence Awards 2010 held on Tuesday 2nd November.
Winning the ‘Productivity through Skills Award,’ Aunt Bessie’s was recognised for its outstanding workforce in achieving business excellence.
The company, which employs over 350 staff at its head office and factories in Hull, UK, wowed the judges with its commitment to maintaining investment in training and support for all of their employees. The judging panel commented ‘Aunt Bessie’s has a clear vision for growth which is clearly communicated throughout the business. They demonstrate excellence in leadership and employee development right across the board.’
Judged by a panel of industry experts, the award honours individual and team contribution to business and acts as a benchmark for the entire food and drink industry to aspire to by showcasing those who excel in business operations.
