Frutarom’s SoyLife Goes Organic

Frutarom Health, a division of International Flavors & Fragrances Inc., has released a new range of Organic SoyLife Complex soy isoflavones.

It has a wide range of applications – it can behave like soy flour, so it adds to the structure of food products, without altering the taste profile. Convenient, on-the-go protein bars or cookies can contain the recommended daily amount of 40-120 mg soy isoflavones without the soy taste. The ingredient has been granted BE-BIO-01 organic certification by Certisys.

SoyLife Complex is a soy ingredient sourced from a selected soy variety that is naturally rich in isoflavones. It is produced simply from the soy germ that sits at the heart of the soybean, further enhancing the isoflavone concentration. SoyLife Complex is standardized in isoflavones purely through natural selection and is particularly high in concentrations of daidzein, one of the most active constituents in soy recognized for its powerful antioxidant and phytoestrogenic properties.

SoyLife Complex presents a sterling example of sustainability, since the soy germs are not utilized in the soy-milk production process thus allowing their use as a value-added product whilst decreasing food waste. SoyLife Complex is produced using carefully selected, non-GMO, organically grown soybeans grown for traditional food production.
