McDonalds US Brings Dutch Waffles to Its International Menu

McDonald’s has recently announced that it is bringing a series of international menu favorites stateside, one of them being Dutch Daelmans Stroopwafel included in McFlurry ice cream.

The international showcase is led by the Tomato Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich straight from Canada and the Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger from Spain. The Stroopwafel McFlurry from the Netherlands serves as a European twist on the ever-popular McFlurry complete with authentic chopped Dutch caramel waffle cookie pieces.

The international menu favorites will be available at McDonald’s US locations starting June 5 for a limited time only.

– Tomato Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich (Canada): Made with grilled or crispy all-white meat, the Tomato Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich is topped with tomato & herb sauce, mozzarella cheese, onions, fresh lettuce and sliced Roma tomatoes served on a freshly toasted artisan roll.

– Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger (Spain): A quarter pound of 100% fresh beef topped with thick cut Applewood smoked bacon, smoky McBacon Sauce, real Gouda cheese and onions served on a freshly toasted sesame seed bun.

– Stroopwafel McFlurry (Netherlands): Creamy vanilla soft serve, mixed with a rich caramel swirl, featuring authentic chopped Dutch Daelmans Stroopwafel caramel waffle cookie pieces.
