OREO is introducing a bold twist to its lineup with the launch of OREO Chocolate Covered Pretzel, the brand’s first-ever sweet and savoury cookie. This limited-edition flavour innovation features chocolate-flavoured creme between pretzel-flavoured cookies, topped with a hint of salt.
Available nationwide in the U.S. from 5 May, the new variety taps into growing consumer demand for contrasting flavour profiles. According to Mondelēz International’s 2024 State of Snacking report, 81% of consumers actively consider the sensory experience of their snacks, with sweet-savoury combinations among the most craved.
The release follows OREO’s earlier collaboration with Grammy-nominated artist Post Malone, which introduced a dual-cookie variety featuring swirled salted caramel and shortbread creme.
