COVID-19: La Brea Bakery Still Running at Full Capacity

La Brea Bakery has assured its consumers that their bakeries are up and running at full capacity and delivering to grocery stores in the USA, giving everyone access to fresh bread that can be eaten that day or stored in the freezer.

Grocery stores in the USA carry La Brea Bakery breads at all in-store bakeries, the bakery announced, as well as the frozen varieties La Brea Bakery’s Take & Bake.

“La Bakery’s flagship Café on South La Brea Drive in LA is staying open, producing fresh-baked bread on-site and available for pickup. All breads will also be 25% off until March 31,” La Brea Bakery announced.

To support their local southern California community, specifically those out of work in the culinary industry, La Brea Bakery is supporting the Restaurant Workers Relief Program by donating cases of bread to Nancy Silverton, who has teamed up with Maker’s Mark on this initiative.

The company has also announced that they have increased the frequency of cleaning and sanitizing of all of their kitchenware, utensils, and other cooking tools. Also, proper handwashing procedures have been reinforced with all of the associates, as well as increasing the frequency of sanitizing all surfaces in food production areas and customer common zones. As of March 24, they have had no reports of the presence of COVID-19 in their facility.
