WIESHEU Opens Subsidiary in Spain

WIESHEU, a market leader in in-store baking in Europe, has recently founded WIESHEU Iberia S.L. based in Barcelona. The team of sales and service specialists there will support partners in the baking industry, food retailers and convenience stores in Spain and Portugal. “We have set up our own company thanks to our successful work over the last few years and due to the potential in a growing market,” explains Marcus Gansloser, Managing Director of WIESHEU GmbH. 

“As the market leader with 50 years’ expertise and quality “Made in Germany,” we are confident that together with our highly-qualified and motivated employees we will be successful in developing the market,” added Fernando Flores, Sales Director of WIESHEU Iberia S.L. “Our products provide process-oriented and innovative solutions that bake fresh products all day long.” 

The baking industry in Spain and Portugal is known for its high technical standards and high quality products. The Escuela de Pastelería del Gremio de Barcelona (EPGB) and the Pastisseria Brunells, famous for their excellent croissants, bake with WIESHEU ovens. 

The sales team with Alejandro Miguel and Sebastian Velilla is managed by Fernando Flores. Oriol Ruiz is responsible for the service team. The well-known WIESHEU experts of the service partner Karwikle will now only work for WIESHEU directly. WIESHEU Iberia will move into its office, presentation and training premises in Barcelona in early 2023.
