Jason’s Sourdough Partners with Regenerative Farming Company Wildfarmed

British baker Jason’s Sourdough announced a partnership with Wildfarmed, a regenerative farming company. Their first joint product is the new Jason’s Sourdough Malted Ciabattin with Wildfarmed Flour launched in Waitrose and Ocado in April. The Malted Ciabattin Sourdough is a sliced bread made using Wildfarmed flour, which is grown without the use of pesticides in a system that prioritises soil health.

Born as a result of high demand for a Malted version of the market leading Ciabattin loaf, the pair’s innovative NPD has filled a gap in the market. Made with Wildfarmed flour and a mix of other flours, plus malted rye, the product is vegetarian and vegan.

Edd Lees, Co-founder at Wildfarmed noted: “At Wildfarmed, we make it easy for customers to help solve some of the world’s biggest problems (climate change, food security, access to nutritious food) simply by eating. Wildfarmed is the gold standard for regenerative agriculture, so by using our flour, Jason’s have created a loaf that not only tastes better but does better.”
