Minebea Intec Highlights Customised Inspection and Weighing Solutions at interpack 2026

Minebea Intec will present its tailored engineering approach at interpack 2026 (7–13 May, Düsseldorf), focusing on customised solutions designed to address increasing production pressures across food and industrial manufacturing.

With rising energy costs, stricter quality requirements and growing sustainability targets, the company emphasises a shift away from standardised systems toward application-specific engineering. Under the theme “Engineered for you”, Minebea Intec will showcase how it supports customers from initial consultation through to implementation, combining process analysis with technically and economically optimised solutions.

Integrated inspection and weighing technologies

A key highlight at the stand will be the Flexus Combi checkweigher, which integrates dynamic weight control with metal detection capabilities. The system can identify ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless steel contaminants while maintaining throughput rates of up to 600 items per minute, helping manufacturers optimise filling accuracy and reduce waste.

The Flexus Combi will be complemented by the Dylight X-ray inspection system, enabling in-line quality control functions such as foreign body detection, completeness checks, fill level monitoring and packaging integrity inspection.

User interface and digitalisation in focus

Minebea Intec will also present its Blue HMI user interface, winner of the 2025 Red Dot Award. Designed as a unified control platform across weighing and inspection systems, the interface aims to improve usability and process efficiency in sectors including food, beverage, pharmaceutical and chemicals.

In parallel, the company will demonstrate its SPC@Enterprise software, which enables centralised data collection and real-time analysis across multiple production sites. The system allows manufacturers to monitor quality metrics, identify trends early and integrate quality assurance into broader production control strategies.

New weighing systems and cybersecurity features

In static weighing, Minebea Intec will showcase its MiNexx bench and floor scales, covering applications from portioning and filling to quality control. The systems offer capacities of up to 6 tonnes and incorporate cybersecurity features aligned with IEC 62443 standards, including multi-level user management to protect process data.

Focus on collaboration and application-specific solutions

The company will use interpack 2026 to engage directly with customers, focusing on individual production challenges rather than off-the-shelf systems. By combining hardware, software and consulting expertise, Minebea Intec aims to deliver measurable improvements in plant efficiency, reduced downtime and lower material losses.

Visitors can explore the solutions at Hall 11, Stand G73, with additional opportunities for product testing and training available at the company’s facility in Aachen, Germany.
