Sveba Dahlen will become part of Midera Food Processing this summer, as The Middleby Corporation prepares to spin off its food processing business into a new independent, publicly listed company.
The separation is expected to be completed on July 6, 2026, subject to customary conditions. Midera Food Processing is planned to list on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker symbol MFP.
For Sveba Dahlen customers, the company said the change will not affect day-to-day business. The Sveba Dahlen and Glimek brands, existing products and current contact channels will remain in place, while the company becomes part of a more focused international group dedicated to food production, bakery and industrial solutions.
“For our Swedish customers, this will not change their day-to-day contact with Sveba Dahlen. We will continue to deliver the same high quality, the same service and the same strong solutions for bakeries, pastry shops, restaurants and food production. The difference is that, going forward, we will do so as part of Midera Food Processing – a strong international group fully focused on our industry,” said Åsa Ericsson, Marketing Manager at Sveba Dahlen.
Midera Food Processing will bring together more than 30 brands supplying equipment and automation solutions for industrial protein, bakery and snack production. The company said its portfolio covers the production line from preparation and thermal processing to packaging, serving customers on six continents.
The business originates from Middleby’s Food Processing division, which generated approximately USD 850 million in revenue in 2025. Its 2026 revenue forecast is USD 915–945 million. Midera will have approximately 2,800 employees globally and will be headquartered in Rosemont, Illinois, USA.
Sveba Dahlen said the Midera name will gradually be introduced in its communications, while Sveba Dahlen and Glimek will continue as customer-facing brands.
“The Midera name will gradually begin to appear in our communication. However, Sveba Dahlen and Glimek will continue to be the brands our customers recognize and trust. For us, this is about making clearer the strength, expertise and innovative power behind Sveba Dahlen and Glimek,” Ericsson said.
Based in Fristad, Sweden, Sveba Dahlen supplies ovens, machines and solutions for bakeries, pastry shops, restaurants and commercial kitchens. The company has 150 employees and is represented on all continents through distributors, subsidiaries and local sales offices.
