CRISP POWER Protein Pretzels has opened a $15 million manufacturing facility in Stafford, Texas, marking a significant step in the company’s U.S. growth strategy as it transitions from imported production to domestic manufacturing.
The new site will serve as the brand’s U.S. production hub, enabling it to increase capacity, shorten supply chains and respond more quickly to growing demand from both retailers and consumers.
“The U.S. market has validated everything we set out to do. Consumers are actively looking for snacks that deliver real protein and real fiber without compromise, and the retail response has confirmed there’s serious appetite for what we’ve built. Bringing production stateside lets us move faster, respond to demand in real time, and get a fresher product to the people who want it,” said Gilad Zilberberg, Founder and CEO of CRISP POWER.
The Texas investment comes approximately two years after the brand entered the U.S. market in 2024. Until now, products were manufactured in Israel by Meir Bagel, a bakery acquired by Zilberberg in 2000. According to the company, CRISP POWER has recorded triple-digit year-over-year growth under his leadership.
Initially gaining traction through direct-to-consumer sales, Amazon and TikTok Shop, the company subsequently expanded into physical retail channels. CRISP POWER said the new facility is designed to support continued growth across both e-commerce and brick-and-mortar distribution.
The move follows a series of retail expansions during 2026. Fresh Thyme introduced 7 oz. bags across the company’s core flavours, while Wegmans expanded its assortment with Cheddar and Flamin’ Crunch varieties. Additional retail developments included Market Basket shipper displays, an H-E-B rollout across Texas and expanded listings at Hy-Vee stores.
According to the company, CRISP POWER products are now available in more than 3,000 retail locations nationwide, including Meijer, Costco, Wegmans, Hy-Vee, H-E-B, Fresh Thyme, Market Basket and The Vitamin Shoppe.
The company’s protein pretzels contain up to 28g of protein, 10g of fibre and 6g of net carbohydrates per 1.75 oz. bag. Available flavours include Everything, Sea Salt, Sesame, Cinnamon Crunch, Cheddar and Flamin’ Crunch.
CRISP POWER said the facility opening aligns with growing consumer demand for protein-focused snacks. The company cited increasing interest in products that support satiety, blood sugar management and macronutrient balance, alongside broader demand for high-protein, high-fibre snack options.
With the Texas facility now operational, CRISP POWER plans to accelerate distribution growth and support additional retail and digital partnerships across the United States.
