Dawn Foods’ CEO to Speak at the 2020 Society of Bakery Women

The 2020 Society of Bakery Women’s annual breakfast on March 1 in Chicago will feature Carrie Jones-Barber, chief executive officer of Dawn Foods, Jackson, Michigan. The event will take place at the Hilton Downtown Chicago. 

The Society of Bakery Women (SBW) was established in 1998 to create a network for women in the baking industry and provide opportunities to gather and share their strategies and resources and to help advance the position of women in the baking industry. SBW gets together at least once a year for a networking dinner that takes place in conjunction with the American Society of Baking’s Annual Conference. 

Carrie Jones-Barber is the CEO of the global bakery leader Dawn Foods. She uses her knowledge of the bakery industry to help drive greater growth and success for Dawn, while ensuring the organization retains a strong focus on people, products, customers and sustainable growth.

Jones-Barber has been with Dawn over 30 years and since becoming CEO in 2006, she has helped establish the 100-year old company as a global leader in sweet bakery, operating in over 100 countries worldwide.

Prior to her role as CEO, Jones-Barber served as the president of Dawn International, where she was responsible for delivering unprecedented growth and profitability for the company’s international operations. Throughout her time at Dawn, Carrie served in roles across Dawn’s sales, information technology, strategy and international business units.
