Bosch has become one of pladis’ worldwide preferred suppliers of process and packaging technology for bakery, chocolate, and confectionery products, after the two companies signed a preferred supplier agreement at interpack 2017.
The global agreement defines their future cooperation in areas ranging from processing and automation technology to packaging machines and systems for primary and secondary packaging.
Bosch has already successfully installed numerous automated packaging solutions for pladis’ biscuits, chocolate and confectionery applications, says the technology specialist.
Ali Ülker, vice chairman of pladis, commented: “As one of the leading companies in the world that produce such a broad range of biscuits and confectionery, we have significant growth ambitions and we need reliable suppliers that can deliver. This agreement cements our long-standing relationship with Bosch Packaging Technology and we are confident that it will support us in achieving our goals in the future.”
Dr. Stefan König, president of Bosch Packaging Technology, said: “Our relationship with pladis is a perfect example of our system solution approach in operation. By offering easy-to-adapt packaging solutions that grow with your needs, customers like pladis can steadily expand their business, regardless of their geographical location. We are delighted to have been awarded this global preferred supplier agreement and look forward to strengthening our partnership with pladis further still.”
