Shane Hanlon is promoted to Director, Parts Sales & Service at RBS

 
Reading Bakery Systems (RBS), a baking and process systems manufacturer, has promoted Shane Hanlon to Director, Parts Sales & Service. 

In his new position, Hanlon will be responsible for supervision of all aspects of parts sales for Reading Bakery Systems. Hanlon joined RBS in November of 2013 as a project manager. Hanlon’s new position will encompass planning and execution of parts marketing activities, attendance at trade shows, developing new product offerings and cultivation of customer relationships. He will also serve as the primary project manager for larger scale upgrade and retrofit projects sold through the parts department. Additional duties will include assisting with expediting parts orders, as well as efforts to grow the RBS customer service support offerings.

Hanlon is a manufacturing industry veteran with 22 years of experience, primarily in the areas of plastics and extrusion. His background includes demonstrated success in a wide range of management areas including sales and customer service, workflow and workforce optimization, technology integration, manufacturing engineering, cost containment, development of sales and marketing materials, employee training and safety management. Prior to joining RBS, Hanlon was national service manager for a major manufacturer of plastic injection molding machines. Hanlon is a native of West Chester, PA, and now lives in Sinking Spring, PA.
