Swedish bakery equipment manufacturer Sveba Dahlen will serve as the Main Skill Sponsor for the bakery competition at EuroSkills 2025, Europe’s largest vocational skills championship. The event is set to take place in Herning, Denmark, from 9–13 September, with bakery competitions scheduled from 10–12 September.
Young bakers from 14 countries – including Germany, France, Spain, Poland, and the Netherlands – will compete using Sveba Dahlen’s D-Series deck ovens (D32E) and F-Series proofers (F200D). The equipment is known for its consistent baking performance, user-friendly design, and robust construction.
EuroSkills 2025 will place a strong emphasis on sustainability. Sveba Dahlen, which manufactures energy-efficient baking solutions, says its participation aligns with its mission to promote greener food production and support the next generation of skilled professionals.
Up to 100,000 visitors are expected at the event, which will host 600 participants from 32 countries across 38 skills, including baking, pastry arts, mechanics, and IT.
Sveba Dahlen also highlighted its wider commitment to vocational training through initiatives such as the Sveba Dahlen Scholarship, awarded annually to top bakery and pastry students in Sweden.
“Supporting EuroSkills 2025 is a natural extension of our dedication to innovation, craftsmanship and the future of the baking industry,” the company stated.
