tna announces the acquisition of Uniques Solutions
tna announces the expansion of its family of brands with the acquisition of Unique Solutions, a provider of inserts and onserts which are dispensed and/or applied using Unique Solutions’ full range of inserting and labelling equipment.
Through its latest acquisition, tna gains valuable access to Unique Solutions’ turnkey In-Pak and On-Pak programs utilising the company’s industry-leading continuous perforated bandolier (CPB) technology. The acquisition forms part of tna’s ongoing strategy to support food manufacturers worldwide with a full range of solutions in its ever growing portfolio of innovative packaging and processing solutions from a single source.

Based in Chicago, USA, Unique Solutions has been developing and manufacturing internationally-patented continuous-feed systems and labelling equipment since 1978. Using their innovative CPB technology, Unique Solutions’ equipment inserts value-added two-dimensional (e.g. coupons, magnets, and tattoos) and three-dimensional items (e.g. toys, scoops and dry or liquid-filled sachets), into primary packaging at industry-leading speeds up to 1,000 pieces per minute with a proven accuracy level of 99.9 per cent.
