TOP BV Opens New Innovation Center

 

TOP BV has recently opened a new innovation center in Wageningen,  the TOP Food Lab, which aims to support manufacturers introduce faster new products on the market.

The TOP Food Lab is located in the practice-innovation part of the Dutch Bakery Centre (NBC). It offers room for the development and trial production of, among others, bakery products, dried products, healthy snacks and chocolate. 

Food companies and startups that need support with the development and market introduction of new products can benefit from the facilities available at the TOP Food Lab.
The innovation center enables product and process development of a broad range of products. New technologies can be tested quicker and more easily, accelerating the market introduction. The NBC is the knowledge and advice for the Dutch bakery industry. It is a foundation supervised by the two national trade associations: the NBOV ( Dutch Bakery and Pastry Entrepreneurs Association) and NVB (Dutch Association for the Bakery). The Wageningen-based center has a team over 50specialists engaged in the transfer of knowledge in the following fields: hygiene, nutrition and health food, market research, processes and commodities.
