TraceGains, the networked business platform connecting F&B brands with ingredient and packaging suppliers, has marked its continued expansion in Europe with a record 3,200-strong audience at its recent virtual Together conference.
Over two days, more than 60 industry experts—including senior figures from leading bakeries, food manufacturers and supply-chain innovators—shared strategies on quality, sustainability, innovation, workforce development and supplier management. The event centered on TraceGains’s new “F&B Guardians” framework, spotlighting how digital tools help tackle the sector’s toughest challenges.
Lewis Rogers-Duffield, Lead Supplier Quality Manager at Baker & Baker, detailed how his team replaced a decades-old Excel database with TraceGains to automate supplier approvals across 12 European sites. “We’ve streamlined our workflows, reduced admin time and empowered local teams with a self-service system,” he said, noting that the platform now underpins risk-based decisions, audit readiness and corrective-action tracking.
Serving over 1,500 clients globally—including half of the top 100 F&B manufacturers—TraceGains leverages AI to enrich data and automate processes across 100,000 supplier locations and more than 600,000 ingredients. “Innovation isn’t light-years away—it’s happening now,” said Gary Iles, SVP of Marketing and Business Development. “Our source-to-shelf network is transforming compliance, quality and product innovation for Europe’s food and beverage industry.”
