GastroPan awarded the Industrial Bread of the Year 2016 made in Romania

 
The visitors of the 8th edition of GastroPan, which took place at Targu Mures, April 14-17, had the opportunity to experience, try and taste a large variety of products, solutions, machineries, technologies and ingredients presented at the booths of the 133 worldwide suppliers from 4 continents. 

More than 20,000 visitors have attended to meet the newest technologies of the market, and the majority of the 133 exhibitors from 25 countries have already planned to come back with even bigger booths for next year’s exhibition. The exhibitors came from countries such as Egypt, USA, France, Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria, Poland, the Netherlands and China and presented their solutions on a 7,000 sqm exhibition space.

At the booths World and Olympic champion bakers, chefs, confectioners and cake designers have shared their talents with thousands of visitors who had the opportunity to taste various products prepared at the booths of the exhibitors (bakery and pastry products, pizza, ice-cream, fries, coffee, wine, different deserts etc.).

The Bread and Cake of the Year 2016 have been awarded  

The best bakers, confectioners and chefs from all around Romania, 182 in number, have entered the GastroPan Competitions. Apart from the Industrial Bread of the Year 2016 made in Romania, the Artisan Bread of the Year 2016 made in Romania and the Cake of the Year 2016, the best pastry products, the greatest culinary plates and the most amazing artistic creations made of dough, fruits and vegetables or sugar paste have been awarded.

At the GastroPan 2016 Competitions the best bakery, pastry products, and the most beautiful, appetizing, esthetic, elegant and also healthy cold dishes prepared individually and in teams, as well as the most amazing artistic pieces made of fruits and vegetables have been awarded. The greatest bread and cake were awarded with the Bread and the Cake of the Year 2016 prizes.
