IBIE Recognized As Fastest-Growing Non-Annual Show

The International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) has received the Grand Award for Fastest-Growing Non-Annual Show by Blended Growth in Trade Show Executive’s Fastest 50 Awards Class of 2025.

The award recognizes growth across three metrics: exhibitor numbers, attendance and net square footage. IBIE was honored during the Fastest 50 Awards & Summit, held April 22-24 in Baltimore, Maryland.

The 2025 edition of IBIE drew 1,005 exhibitors and more than 19,000 attendees from 96 countries. Its 451,100-square-foot show floor also set an IBIE record for sold-out space, according to the organizers.

“Winning this award is a tremendous honor, but it’s also a testament to what our community has built together,” said Allen Wright, IBIE 2028 chair and president of Hansaloy. “IBIE is the heart of the grain-based food industry, and to see that reflected in the show’s growth makes this recognition especially meaningful. We couldn’t be more proud.”

Produced annually by Trade Show Executive, the Fastest 50 program recognizes the fastest-growing trade shows in the United States. Grand Award winners represent the highest level of recognition among the honorees.

IBIE said its growth reflects the event’s long-standing role as a major meeting point for the grain-based food sector. The show floor brings together manufacturers and suppliers covering production equipment, ingredients, packaging, sanitation and automation, with product demonstrations and direct access to technical experts.

“IBIE’s growth symbolizes how much our industry values having a dedicated space to connect, learn, and innovate,” said Samantha Moore, director of trade show operations, IBIE. “More exhibitors mean more solutions. IBIE 2028 is scheduled to return to Las Vegas from September 10-13, 2028.
