With over 1,700 exhibitors from 54 countries already confirmed, Host 2025 is shaping up to be a key global gathering for the hospitality and out-of-home (OOH) sectors. Taking place from 17–21 October at Fiera Milano, the biennial event will put a spotlight on innovation across foodservice, artisan baking, bar, coffee, and design.
This 44th edition arrives at a time of strong industry growth. Global production across Host-represented sectors reached EUR189.9bn in 2024, according to ExportPlanning, with professional foodservice equipment growing by 8.6%. Italy remains a leading exporter, holding 29.8% of the global market for coffee and vending machines and ranking second globally in bakery and pastry machinery (28.8%).
Artisan Baking Returns to Centre Stage
A renewed focus on Artisan Baking will be marked by the return of MIPPP – Milano Bakery Pizza Pasta, strengthened through a partnership with the SIPAN Consortium. The area will feature top Italian manufacturers and will be flanked by Bakery Square, a new arena for training, workshops, and international competitions including the Panettone World Championship and European Pizza Championship.
According to Grand View Research, the global bakery equipment market is now worth around USD14bn and is expected to grow 6.7% annually through 2030, fuelled by demand for pizza base production technologies and rising interest in organic and gluten-free formats.
Bar and Coffee Innovation on Display
The bar and coffee sector will be prominently featured through SIC – the International Coffee Exhibition, where the full supply chain from bean to cup is represented. Highlighting the sector’s evolution toward premium and personalised experiences, SIC will host the World Barista Championship, returning to Milan in 2025.
The coffee market, spanning at-home and OOH consumption, reached USD461.3bn in 2024, and is projected to surpass USD521.9bn by 2030, according to Statista.
A Global Outlook with Expanding Reach
Host 2025 is drawing strong international participation, with 44% of exhibitors coming from abroad. Alongside Italy, the top represented countries include Germany, Spain, France, the Netherlands, the US and UK. New exhibitors from South America and Southeast Asia will also join.
Over 700 hosted buyers from around 75 countries are expected, targeting sectors from foodservice and retail to design and consulting. The Americas, Middle East, Africa, Asia and Oceania account for the majority of these visitors.
Innovation and Design at the Core
Across its exhibition layout, Host will feature five main categories: Professional Foodservice; Bakery-Pasta-Pizza; Coffee-Tea; Bar-Coffee Machines-Vending-Gelato-Pastry; Tableware-Technology-Contract Furnishing. Innovation is a central theme, with the Smart Label – Host Innovation Award once again recognising cutting-edge solutions. Organised in collaboration with POLI.design and under the patronage of ADI, the award is now in its seventh edition.
International Expansion: Host Arabia Launches
As part of its global strategy, Fiera Milano will launch Host Arabia in Riyadh, from 15–17 December 2025, in partnership with Semark. Held alongside Saudi HORECA, the new event aims to bolster Host’s position in the Middle East hospitality sector.
Host 2025 promises a packed schedule of competitions, live demonstrations, expert panels, and show-cooking with star chefs and master pizza makers—offering visitors a complete immersion in the future of hospitality.
