IBIE Preview: IMA FLX Hub Focuses on Sanitation, Ease of Operation and Consumable Sustainability

Part of Worldbakers’ IBIE SPECIAL EDITION 2022, we interview important exhibitors about what they bring to IBIE, so readers know what to expect at the Baking Expo that takes place between September 18-21, 2022, in Las Vegas. Today we interview Liam Buckley, Sales Director at Ilapak Inc. and Delta Systems & Automation, LLC., part of IMA Group and IMA FLX hub.

The IMA FLX hub (IMA Ilapak and IMA Delta Systems) will be exhibiting a range of machinery reflecting the needs of the range consumer goods packaged on our machinery. The key areas of focus for the industry as a whole revolve around sanitation, ease of operation and consumable sustainability.

Sanitation: The continued focus in this area to meet not only customer requirements but also industry regulators such as the FDA and BRC has resulted in far reaching changes to our equipment to exceed the cleanliness requirements of the various industries we supply from fresh cut produce to meat and cheese – IMA exceeds requirements in all applications.

Ease of Operation: Our continued development of interactive machine HMI’s including training videos, exploded parts diagrams and instructional guides embedded into our machines show tangible results on the factory floor.

Consumables Sustainability: Our machinery interacts with a wide range of packaging materials and with our materials laboratories in the USA and Europe we partner with our customer to ensure new generation materials can run on our equipment as well as plan for future changes.
