IBIE Preview: Rheon Will Have at Least 12 Demonstrations per Day

Part of Worldbakers’ IBIE SPECIAL EDITION 2022, we interview important exhibitors about what they bring to IBIE, so readers know what to expect at the Baking Expo that takes place between September 18-21, 2022, in Las Vegas. Today we interview John Giacoio, VP of Sales, Rheon USA.

Visitors of the IBIE show who stop to see Rheon at booth #3845 will see 10 fully operational lines / systems. We will have at least 12 demonstrations each day with actual products being made. All products will be proofed and baked for customers enjoyment and so they can see the end result of our superior technology. Some of the systems will be demonstrated on demand at customers’ request throughout the show. I don’t know of any other company that goes to these lengths to show their customers actual products being made in such a challenging environment. We will be showing our newest innovations in stress free artisan bread dough sheeting.

We will be showcasing our production size artisan bread line with a 2-ton capacity. This line will feature an adjustable width stress free divider giving the operator the ability to change the dough sheet width allowing them to reduce dough trim and increase quality. This same line will also be debuting a new 70 cut per minute “cut by weight system”. We will also be showing smaller stress-free artisan bread systems. Our smallest lamination makeup line, called the EZ table will be making stress free laminated products. A complete concha line will also be shown and several or our gentle co-extruders for making quality filled products will be demonstrated. We are committed to showing our customers the newest technology in food processing equipment and the products they can make.

The industry as a whole is looking to move towards more automation without sacrificing quality. This has been Rheon’s mission since 1963 and at no time in our history has this been more important than today. With material shortages, labor shortages and customers looking to innovate new and exciting products we are busier than ever before.

We don’t believe in making equipment that can’t improve product quality. Our mission has been to make equipment that can make products as good or better than hand made. We manufacture Stress Free sheeting and Lamination lines. We also manufacture Stress Free Artisan Bread lines that can easily divide high hydration long floor time dough more accurately and with less stress than hand dividing.

Rheon was founded on the gentle co-extrusion machines that we sell all over the world and are making hundreds of different high quality filled products from many different industries. Our co-extruders are so gentle that we can form filled products with large inclusions without damaging them. This has been the go-to machine for people who are forming filled products by hand and need to automate without sacrificing quality.
