RBS To Showcase Snack Innovation And Sustainable Baking Technologies At Snackex 2026

Reading Bakery Systems (RBS) will highlight a range of snack production innovations and baking technologies at Snackex 2026, taking place June 17–18 in Lisbon, Portugal.

At booth 332, the company plans to present developments in both product innovation and equipment technology aimed at helping snack manufacturers respond to changing consumer preferences while improving production efficiency and sustainability.

Among the products featured will be baked pita chips, seasoned pretzels, filled snack products, twisted pretzels and a new baked French fry concept. According to RBS, the showcase is intended to demonstrate opportunities for manufacturers seeking to expand product portfolios and develop new snack formats.

The company will also focus on sustainability initiatives through its latest baking technologies. RBS said its Convection XE Oven and electric oven platforms are designed to reduce energy consumption and emissions while simplifying cleaning and maintenance and improving baking performance. The company will additionally highlight pathways for converting gas-powered ovens to electric operation in the future.

Automation will be another key theme of the exhibit. RBS plans to present its continuous mixing systems, which are designed to automate ingredient handling and mixing operations, helping manufacturers reduce labour requirements, minimise waste and improve product consistency.
