Südback To Be Held in October

The starting point, as the first industry meeting point after the pandemic, will be the SACHSENBACK event in Dresden between April 2 – 4, 2022, according to a press release. This event will be aimed at the bakery and confectionery trades in East and Central Germany. SACHSENBACK will then be followed in autumn by südback, which will be held in Stuttgart from 22 to 25 October 2022.

südback, which was scheduled to take place in 2020, had to be cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The trade fair will now return in 2022 in a regular cycle and will then be staged in October 2024 and in 2025, provisionally in September, in Stuttgart.

Project Manager Anne-Kathrin Müller said: “We are currently holding intensive discussions with our partners in order to formulate the direction and the technical program of the events at an early stage. The südback Working Party, to which our partners belong, will hold the next meeting for this purpose in May this year. As far as the other preparations for südback are concerned, we will start intensive discussions to this effect with exhibitors in April. From autumn onwards, we will enter the important floor space allocation phase in the exhibition hall areas. Sales discussions will also naturally continue at the same time with exhibitors and partners. During these discussions we will talk to them about their participation wishes,” she concluded.
