The victory of the United Kingdom, represented by Michael Ho Lam Kwan and Nicolas Houchet, at the 2022 European Pastry Cup, closes two days of intense competition during Sirha Europain.
On the way to the Grand Finale of the World Pastry Cup on January 20th and 21st, 2023, the United Kingdom, Sweden and Denmark join Italy, Japan and France already qualified.

The teams had 5 hours to finalize two frozen fruit entremets, twelve frozen lollipops, seven restaurant-style desserts and two 145 cm artistic pieces, under the eyes of François Perret, Honorary President of this edition, currently Pastry Chef of the Ritz Paris*** and Best Restaurant Pastry Chef in the World in 2019.
“It is a high level competition highlighting the magic of the profession, with differences between the teams but a beautiful diversity among the pieces proposed, comments François Perret.
