HERMA to Spotlight Eco Labeling Innovations and Modular Flexibility at Fachpack 2025

HERMA is set to make a strong impression at Fachpack 2025 (Hall 3C, Stand 322), presenting a range of sustainable and modular labeling solutions, including the debut of the HERMA eco applicator in a top and bottom labeling system.

HERMA eco: Performance Meets Affordability

The newly launched HERMA eco will be integrated into the 652C labeling machine, offering high-efficiency top and bottom labeling at a notably competitive price. Despite its entry-level price point, the HERMA eco features a robust mechanical design and premium build quality. In combination with a Köra-Packmat friction feeder, the 652C ensures precise label placement at speeds of up to 30 m/min, handling labels up to 160 mm wide.

The system’s master encoder function guarantees consistent synchronization with conveyor speed, and its modular configuration allows for easy customisation—including integration of a HERMA 500 thermal transfer printer or a hot-foil unit for variable data printing.

Laser Printing Without Consumables

HERMA will also showcase the 362E double-sided labeling machine, which enables non-contact, consumable-free printing at speeds of up to 200 products per minute. Partnered with a UV laser from Domino, this system prints directly onto HERMA’s specially developed film labels via a chemical-free colour shift. The result is a smudge-proof, scratch-resistant, and chemically resistant print—ideal for pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and chemicals.

Sealing and Labeling in One Step

Another standout is the HERMA 752C, which will demonstrate the simultaneous sealing and labeling of clamshell packaging filled with popcorn. This solution exemplifies how multifunctional labels can support sustainable packaging strategies by reducing material use and improving efficiency.

Modular Labeling Line and Logistics Integration

HERMA’s full labeling line will be on display, emphasising modularity and system integration. At the core are the HERMA eco and the HERMA 500—renowned for their flexibility, user-friendly operation, and compatibility with various production setups. The Print & Apply systems for logistics applications will also be featured, showing how HERMA’s components can be freely configured to meet diverse industrial requirements.

Semi-Automatic Solutions for Small Batches

For smaller-scale operations, HERMA will present its semi-automatic machines: the 414 for top labeling and the 211 for wrap-around labeling of cylindrical products—ideal for short runs and agile production environments.

HERMA’s Fachpack 2025 showcase reflects its commitment to sustainable innovation, precision engineering, and scalable solutions for every segment of the packaging industry.
