At iba 2025, MECATHERM has launched MyMecatherm, a new digital platform and connected services—Digital Care and Digital Care+—designed to streamline production-line management for industrial bakeries. Developed with IoT specialist MaMaTa, the solution translates real-time machine data into clear, actionable insights and provides direct access to MECATHERM experts.
As bakeries generate ever-greater volumes of operational data, MyMecatherm captures key performance indicators—temperature, energy use, line speed and product parameters—and presents them via custom dashboards. Users receive instant, colour-coded alerts for anomalies, enabling rapid root-cause analysis and strategic decision-making.
Digital Care offers live, historical and cumulative data views, plus tools to build bespoke analytics. Digital Care+ adds predictive-maintenance capabilities: automatic alerts flag deviations (for example, conveyor-chain tension drift in ovens), while detailed diagnostics and troubleshooting guidance help prevent unplanned downtime, extend equipment life and reduce maintenance costs.
Beyond machine monitoring, the platform centralises tutorials, documentation and spare-parts lists, empowering bakery teams with self-guided troubleshooting and process support. A built-in messaging feature ensures real-time contact with MECATHERM’s support network, fostering closer collaboration throughout the equipment lifecycle.
By converting raw data into targeted recommendations and proactive alerts, MyMecatherm aims to boost uptime, enhance sustainability through timely part replacements and empower operators with greater autonomy—ultimately driving productivity and confidence on the production line.
