Bridor Ticks Two Trends with New Organic Rye Loaf

French bakery manufacturer Bridor has embarked on “sharing the bakery cultures of the world”: its latest product to arrive in the UK is an organic version of the popular Nordic Loaf, the company announces.

This new Scandinavia-inspired, traditional dark rye bread is made with a blend of organic flours and grains. It meets the current demand for high-fiber bread with a soft, dark crumb and flavors of toasted cereal.

Following a rich and tasty recipe based on wheat, rye, and malted barley flours, the loaf includes add-ins such as brown flax, sesame and sunflower seeds that add flavor, texture and increase the bread’s visual appeal. The 280g sharing format is ideal for slicing – the perfect base for a snack, a great addition to hotel breakfasts, or ideal for creating more substantial meals throughout the day.

Supplied frozen, the Nordic Loaf requires defrosting for up to 10 minutes before being heated at 190°C -200°C for 11-13 minutes. Supplied in boxes of 28 units and pallets of 32 boxes, the loaf is ideal for restaurateurs, hoteliers, and foodservice, as well as a range of retail customers for a consistent product that customers will love.

Known for its ongoing innovation, Bridor draws inspiration from around the globe to deliver new and exciting products that appeal to an international audience.
