Krispy Kreme has partnered with Butterfinger candy brand to bring to market two new doughnut creations. The two doughnuts hit store shelves at select Krispy Kreme locations in the U.S, starting February 21/.
This is Krispy Kreme’s first-ever collaboration with Butterfinger, and the doughnut purveyor apparently wanted to introduce something very different than what fans of the original glazed Krispy Kreme product are used to ordering.
One of the new creations is called the Butterfinger Original Filled Doughnut. It’s a glazed doughnut filled with peanut butter chocolate creme. The doughnut comes dipped in Butterfinger icing and topped with Butterfinger pieces and a chocolate drizzle.
The second new creation, the Butterfinger Fudge Cake Doughnut, is a chocolate cake doughnut dipped in chocolate icing and topped with a peanut butter chocolate creme and Butterfinger pieces.
“Kreme meets crunch in Krispy Kreme’s first-ever partnership with Butterfinger! You can now experience an unforgettable combination of the light and airy Original Glazed® doughnut combined with crunchy Butterfinger® candy pieces. Our two new delicious doughnuts deliver a true collision of “Krispety” cravings you won’t want to miss,” Krispy Kreme writes on their website.
