British bakery chain Gail’s has announced that it officially launches in stores its new Christmas Sandwich on Thursday, November 7.
Baking the best of the festive season, the Gail’s Christmas sandwich features Waste-Less Sourdough – the UK’s first loaf made with leftover bread, according to the company.
Available exclusively at Gail’s, the Waste-Less Sourdough use surplus loaves helping to tackle the increasing issue of waste in the food industry.
The sandwich contains smoked turkey, Mayfield Swiss cheese, chipotle aioli and homemade bacon jam sandwiched between two slices of freshly baked Gail’s Waste-Less Sourdough. The turkey & cheese on Waste-less Sourdough will be sold for GBP5.10.
