Good premises for the first edition of ANUFOOD Eurasia

ANUFOOD Eurasia, which will open its doors in Istanbul, May 14-16, starts successfully into the trade fair year, with 70 per cent of the planned space has been rented, five months before the fair’s opening.

ANUFOOD Eurasia is powered by ANUGA, the fair show organized in Cologne, Germany.

After a successful initial registration period, during which international vendors from Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Germany, Denmark, Greece, Italy, Indonesia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovenia, Thailand and Vietnam registered, numerous well-known Turkish companies also announced their participation. Amongst others, Ülker Eksper, Penguen Gıda, Çaykur, Altıparmark Gıda, Gesaş İç ve Dış Tic., Doğanay Gıda Tarım ve Hayvancılık, Yayla Gıda and Malatya Pazarı have recently registered.

The fair will be organised as a joint project by Reed Tüyap and Koelnmesse.

Alongside the positive number of registrations received, Koelnmesse was able to win the support of two additional strong partners: DT Food and Innova Market Insights will both be represented at the fair, each with their own stand.

DT Food sees itself as a contact and communication platform for the bilateral German-Turkish food industry. The consulting firm specializes in exports of German products on the Turkish market. In mid-November, participants of the preparatory seminar offered by Koelnmesse ‘Market entry in Turkey – from import regulations to shelf presentation’ could already be persuaded by DT Food’s consulting expertise.

Innova Market Insights will present new product trends in its own pavilion, as at Anuga 2013 in Cologne.

The bakery sector will be represented at the trade show by bread (fresh, frozen, partly-baked), small baked rolls, fine baked goods, long-life baked goods, spreads, raw materials/ingredients/auxiliary agents for baking, cocoa and chocolate products, biscuits, sugar confectionery, raw pastes and other confectioneries.
