Organizers of the SIAL Paris trade show recently announced their decision to postpone the event for October 15-19, 2022.
“The latest developments in the state of affairs worldwide and the uncertainties arising from them have led to a substantial shift in opinion among our audiences that we have consulted in recent days, with a majority now wishing to see the event postponed,” stated a press release.
The organizers will consequently be offering a series of new events from October 2020 onwards dealing with major global issues, trends and innovation that are set to shape the food industry of the future. These highlights will include major international and exclusive studies, conducted by the partners of SIAL: Kantar, ProtéinesXTC and Gira. These studies will analyze leading trends and how they evolve over time, based on a three-pillar approach: Customer expectations, Product innovation and Out-of-home food service behavior.
“We will continue to expand our global network to offer regional growth platforms with major annual gatherings in China, Canada, Indonesia, India and the United Arab Emirates. Relying on the loyalty and support of all our exhibitors and visitors, we will put the two years ahead to good use to prepare an even more inspiring and efficient SIAL 2022,” the press release concluded.
