Brabender Has a New Head of External Sales

Brabender, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of measurement and process engineering solutions for testing the quality of various raw materials and for developing and optimizing products, recipes, methods and processes, has a new Head of External Sales in Murat Tuglu. 

Murat Tuglu, a Grevenbroich native (near Duisburg, Brabender’s headquarters), is very familiar with machines: Before joining Brabender, he studied industrial engineering and has been responsible for regional sales of packaging machines for the food industry for the past nine years. Since July, he has managed the company’s external sales and, together with the sales team, he is responsible for expanding shares in existing markets and generating sales in new markets. Part of his work is also the optimization and further development of sales structures and strategies.

“For me one of the most important things in sales is to listen and I really like that. I like to listen to our customers,” said Tuglu. “What are their needs? Getting all the information from them to help them find the right solution and this for me is a foundation for being a long term partner for them. In order to be able to respond to the individual needs and wishes of customers, I am currently participating in several training courses in the Food & Feed and Plastics & Rubbers application labs at Brabender. There, I learn about the products in detail so that I can advise customers on the products in the best possible way.”
