Diosna takes over the pre-dough specialist Isernhager

Diosna, a company of Breteche group, has taken over the entire shares of the pre-dough specialist Isernhager.

The company now has a platform to provide the complete dough production and therewith most important process in the bakery industry, from the dosage and the pre-dough preparation, the StartGut for pre-dough processing, the kneading up to the hand-over logistics like belts and elevator tippers.

“This brings together what belongs together”, Henrik Oevermann, Diosna Head of Bakery Division, says.

“Both companies now provide the complete range of dough competence, which is globally unique in our industry.”

With effect from 31st December 2014, the Isernhager-owner Fridjof Olms went into retirement, but will still be available as a senior consultant. Olms says that the transaction will have considerable significance for future developments:

“The advantage for our customers is that dough properties in taste, texture, kneading and temperature may be precisely determined at any time. With regard to the following manufacturing equipment, this provides the best possible basis for a perfect product.”

In their future appearance on the national and international markets, Diosna and Iserhager will bundle and use their common know-how in line with customer requirements.

“We are very happy to welcome our new subsidiary Isernhager and another 45 highly motivated employees. We have identified excellent opportunities to further expand this promising business segment and to gain new customers around the world,” Diosna General Manager Dr. Wolfgang Eisser says.

The new company is headquartered in Osnabrück, Germany.
