FrieslandCampina Professional and IMCD have announced an expansion of their strategic partnership to cover additional EMEA markets, effective 1 January 2026. Under the extended agreement, IMCD will become the exclusive distributor for FrieslandCampina Professional’s Kievit portfolio of food and beverage ingredients in a broader set of countries.
The new phase of the collaboration builds on existing relationships in markets such as Italy, the Nordics, Poland, South & East Africa, the UK, and Ireland. It will now include Germany, France, Iberia, Switzerland, Greece, and several Middle Eastern countries—including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, and Bahrain.
FrieslandCampina Professional’s Kievit range includes fat powders, creamers, foamers, whipping agents, cake emulsifiers, and sweet and savoury enrichers, serving applications in bakery, dairy, beverages, savoury, and nutrition. IMCD will leverage its extensive local presence, technical expertise, and formulation capabilities to bring these solutions closer to food and beverage manufacturers across the region.
With operations in more than 60 countries and a global network of over 80 laboratories, including 16 application labs and 4 pilot labs in EMEA, IMCD is well positioned to offer hands-on support tailored to regional market needs.
“After many years of successful collaboration, we are proud to be appointed as the lead partner for FrieslandCampina Professional’s B2B go-to-market strategy across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa,” said Marc van Gerwen, Business Group Director, IMCD Food & Nutrition. “This expanded partnership strengthens our ability to drive both growth and productivity, extend our reach in key markets, and co-develop innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of food and beverage manufacturers, service providers, and other industry partners.”
“We are excited to expand our partnership with IMCD across these important EMEA markets,” said Mark Stolzenbach, Managing Director Industry & Trading, FrieslandCampina Professional. “IMCD’s strong local presence, customer intimacy, and technical support will allow us to better serve our customers with speed, flexibility, and innovation. We look forward to continued growth together and to delivering even greater value to the market.”
The partnership aims to accelerate innovation and strengthen market responsiveness as food and beverage manufacturers across EMEA face rapidly evolving consumer demands in taste, texture, functionality, and sustainability.
