“Bread of the Year” and “Cake of the Year”, awarded at GastroPan

GastroPan 2015 will exhibit the widest range of solutions and technologies for bakeries, confectioneries, restaurants, bars and cooffee shops. The trade shows will organize competitions for bakers and confectioners will compete for prizes such as the “Bread of the Year” and “Cake of the Year” trophies.

Almost 150 suppliers booked their booths at the event, in Targu Mures, Romania, March 19-21.

Romanian market remains attractive to suppliers from all over the world, wth almost 20,000 food-related companies, 20 million consumers and one of the highest bread consumption rates in Europe.

Over the years GastroPan became the main business platform where professionals, managers and suppliers from the targeted markets can meet and discover the latest technologies through practical demo shows.

The event exhibits all types of solutions and technologies for businesses activating in the baking and hospitality industries: artisan and industrial bakeries, confectioneries, gelato and chocolate shops, biscuit and pasta producers, restaurants and food service units, bars and coffee shops.

During the tradeshow, visitors can see the newest offers of equipment and ingredients from the most important world suppliers; efficient ideas for diversifying business activities and product scale; solutions for optimizing production and reducing operative cost and will test the functionalities of doyens of innovative machines and concepts.

Thursday, March 19

GastroPan 2015 open its gates to the visitors at 10:00 a.m. Exhibitors will showcase their latest products through dozens of live demo shows, while hundreds of bakers and confectioners will compete for prizes such as the “Bread of the Year” and “Cake of the Year” trophies.

Friday, March 20

The baking and gastro ingredients, machines and technologies will continue to be highlight at the exhibitors’ booths, while skilled chefs from all across the country will show their talents at the culinary competitions: fruit and vegetable sculpting and cold dishes will be the main themes. The second day of exhibition ends with a Festive Dinner which unites producers and suppliers on the market.

Saturday, March 21

Exhibitors will once again show the benefits of their solutions for bakeries, confectioneries, gelato and chocolate shops, biscuit and pasta producers, restaurants and food service units, bars and coffee shops. Visitors will also admire products and artistic pieces of the GastroPan Competitions.
