The organizers of the 22nd edition of Hi & Fi Asia-China trade show announced the event would be postponed in light of the global COVID-19 pandemic. The fair originally scheduled for June 22-24, 2020, will now take place from November 25-27, 2020 at the National Exhibition Convention Center (Shanghai)(NECC) in Shanghai.
Since the outbreak of the pandemic, the organizers have continued to listen to exhibitor feedback and monitor the global situation closely. Furthermore, with travel restrictions in some countries, imposed quarantine for returnees, this postponement will provide far greater flexibility for the community and allow optimal business performance for exhibitors and buyers by hosting the event at a later time.
“During these times, it is more needed than ever before that industry has platforms to come together. With this in mind, we are working on a comprehensive e-commerce platform – Virtual Expo Connect, which will take place from June 2020, to break the physical restrictions and facilitate unlimited connections among global health and food companies during this unprecedented time,” a press release states.
