Host 2025 Returns to Milan in October 2025

Host 2025 is set to return to Fiera Milano from 17–21 October as the global benchmark for the HoReCa industry, with a renewed focus on innovation in food equipment and artisan baking. The 44th edition will span six halls dedicated to foodservice, plus additional space for the revitalised MIPPP – Milano Pane Pasta Pizza – reaffirming Italy’s central role in shaping the future of bakery and foodservice equipment.

Backed by strong market momentum, Host 2025 responds to growing investment in equipment upgrades and digital tools across the industry. According to FIPE-Confcommercio, around 50% of Italian foodservice companies have invested nearly EUR4bn in innovation, with sustainability as a key driver. Globally, the foodservice equipment market is projected to reach over USD60bn by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 5.6% (Grand View Research).

Innovation and Synergies at the Heart of the Show

Host 2025 will showcase cutting-edge solutions in intelligent cooking systems, automation, and next-gen semi-finished products, all within a layout that facilitates seamless interaction between supply chains. Halls 1–3, 2–4, and 5–7 will host foodservice exhibitors, while Hall 6 and 10 will highlight the newly restructured MIPPP section.

MIPPP Returns with Renewed Focus on Artisan Baking

Now revamped and backed by the SIPAN Consortium, MIPPP will spotlight top-tier Italian and international bakery producers. It will feature Bakery Square—a new arena dedicated to artisan baking through live demonstrations, hands-on training, and expert talks.

Italy’s tradition of bakery craftsmanship takes centre stage in this enhanced format, designed to appeal to a broader range of trade visitors and reinforce Italy’s leadership in the European baking landscape.

Live Competitions and Expert-Led Events

A packed programme will include key industry events such as:

  • Panettone World Championship – the only live competition for large leavened products

  • European Pizza Championship – showcasing continental pizza-making talent

  • Fermenti di Sapienza: Il Lievito Madre – a must-attend sourdough conference

  • Bread and Well-being – workshops and show-cooking sessions, including fresh pasta demonstrations

  • Smart Food – Smart Chefs – Smart Future – green-themed foodservice innovation events

  • FIC Academy – specialised training for chefs and professionals

Smart Label Awards Spotlight Sustainable Innovation

Now in its seventh edition, the Smart Label – Host Innovation Award will once again highlight pioneering solutions in the sector. Organised by Fiera Milano and POLI.design with the patronage of ADI, the awards span three categories: Smart Label, Innovation Smart Label, and Green Smart Label. Since launch, over 950 applications have been submitted globally, with 280+ products recognised.

As Host 2025 approaches, it promises to be a cornerstone event for professionals across the global baking and foodservice value chains—offering insight, connection, and inspiration at every turn.
