MECATHERM and ABI Present their Solutions at iba 2025

MECATHERM and ABI present their solutions to address the key challenges of the industrial bakery, pastry and sweet goods sector: product quality, industrial performance, and sustainability.

From May 18 to 22, 2025, at the IBA trade fair in Düsseldorf (Germany), MECATHERM – one of the world leaders in the design and manufacture of automatic equipment and production lines for industrial bakery, pastry and sweet goods products, – will be exhibiting alongside its partner ABI, recognized for its expertise in robotics, automation, and bagel production.

As the sector evolves rapidly and consumer expectations regarding quality, variety, and sustainability continue to grow, food manufacturers face major challenges: industrial performance, product quality, digital transformation and sustainability.

MECATHERM and ABI will present their latest innovations addressing these challenges:

  • Sustainable baking and energy performance, with the vertical oven M-VT, the Energy Recovery System, the Hygro Control System, and product waste reduction with the ABI’s AI-powered EYE-Q quality control system.
  • Digitalization and industrial agility, with the MyMecatherm, a new digital platform for real-time performance monitoring and predictive maintenance of production lines.
  • User-friendliness and product quality, with the new M-RT moulder, ideal for hydrated and rested doughs, combined with the M-NS II divider, for high-quality crusty breads.
