Minebea Intec Debuts PR 6003 Mounting Kit for High-Precision Silo Weighing

Minebea Intec has launched its new PR 6003 mounting kit, engineered to simplify and enhance silo weighing in demanding industrial environments. Available now, the compact system delivers rapid commissioning along with exceptional accuracy and safety.

Designed to withstand wind loads, earthquakes and vibration, the PR 6003 supports nominal loads from 500 kg to 75 t. Users can specify mild or stainless-steel construction for increased corrosion resistance. “Our goal was to create a product that is not only technically impressive, but also makes everyday life easier for our customers,” says Yannick Salzmann, Product Manager at Minebea Intec.

Certified for horizontal forces up to 82 kN and equipped with an anti-lift device rated to 120 kN, the PR 6003 ensures maximum operational safety. Minebea Intec also offers a “wind and earthquake calculation tool” to help customers optimize their silo designs.

Installation is streamlined by a dummy-load function—allowing setup without a live load cell—and an optional jack-up tool that lifts the silo for safe removal of protective plates. Weighing under 20 kg, each mounting bracket can be handled by a single technician. Once in place, the maintenance-free kit promises long-term durability.
