Rademaker is sharpening its focus on flexible, high-performance dough sheeting solutions as it prepares to showcase its latest laminating technology at iba 2025. The Dutch equipment specialist has introduced new semi-automatic production concepts and advanced laminators designed to meet evolving customer needs across a range of production scales.
Best known for its fully automated, high-capacity lines, Rademaker has now developed a semi-automatic system tailored to bakeries with lower output requirements. This solution enables manual handling during cooling and resting phases while offering both manual and automated options for final product shaping. The aim is to deliver adaptable systems that maintain product quality without compromising on flexibility.
At the core of these innovations is a three-year research project, launched in 2022, that has yielded major improvements in dough sheet quality. Key enhancements include better stability in fat layers, improved dough homogeneity, and more intuitive machine operation. According to Rademaker, early adopters are already seeing increased efficiency, easier changeovers, and reduced risk of contamination thanks to design upgrades.
“Consistent, high-quality dough sheets are essential for product reliability,” the company said. “Our new laminators help bakers reduce giveaway, cut waste, and maintain stable weight and shape throughout production.”
