Sveba Dahlen and Exodraft Unveil Heat Recovery Add-Ons to Boost Bakery Efficiency and Sustainability

Sveba Dahlen has launched two new energy-saving solutions designed to help bakeries cut emissions and reduce operational costs. The Exodraft SP80 and BP250 systems are advanced heat recovery units that capture and reuse excess heat from the baking process, and are compatible with a wide range of oven types, including tunnel ovens.

Developed in partnership with Danish company Exodraft, the systems work across electric, oil, and gas-fired ovens, including Sveba Dahlen’s own energy-efficient rotating rack ovens. The units are built for high-output environments and feature durable stainless steel construction and user-friendly controls.

By reclaiming waste heat, the SP80 and BP250 reduce energy consumption and CO₂ emissions, aligning with ESG goals and supporting bakeries in their move toward more sustainable operations.

Åsa Ericsson, Marketing Manager at Sveba Dahlen, said: “Our commitment to innovation and sustainability drives us to collaborate with Exodraft, offering advanced solutions like the SP80 and BP250 that redefine energy efficiency in baking.”

Sveba Dahlen will showcase the technology at IBIE, where visitors can explore how these systems can support energy management strategies and improve performance across commercial and industrial baking setups.
