Beyond Bread Bakery & Café is a new concept of place where you can taste only gluten-free products, open in London, January, 5.

The Bakery & Cafe is not just fo gluten-free fans, but those who appreciate good food that tastes delicious in a contemporary, stylish setting. Beyond Bread is a progressive culinary concept designed to create familiar tastes through gluten-free foods. Innovating and creating, leading and not following, the expert team is keen to promote gluten-free past any misconceptions of it being a passing fashion fad.
Adriana Rabinovich, author of ‘The Gluten-Free Cookbook For Kids’, a highly respected pioneer in gluten-free cooking, assisted with the product development and the range is an diverse, delicious mix of pasties, pastries and pies, cakes and quiches, tempting tarts, sumptuous sandwiches, and of course, an excellent selection of gluten-free breads.
Feedback from customers is vital at this early stage – the team continually develop new products and seek inspiration from the very people they’re catering for. The gluten-free community has been incredibly supportive of the opening, and there are plans to introduce further innovative gluten-free products in response to demands.
The founder Beyond Bread Bakery & Café, of Elena Golubovich, answered to WorldBakers.com questions. She explained that Beyond Bread is not the first place in London where only 100 per cent gluten-free products are sold, but the first place dedicated to create special products.

“We are totally dedicated to creating fresh, unique and delicious products – not just sandwiches and bread, but we’re continually developing healthy and fresh salads, incredible cakes, pastries, pies and many other delicious goodies”, said she.

Elena Golubovich explained the factors that lead her to open a gluten-free bakery.

“I have been gluten-free since the birth of my daughter and the choice of gluten-free products has just been depressing. The market is, thankfully, getting an injection of innovation but there’s a lot more that can be done. Opening a gluten-free bakery in London is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time. Making gluten-free accessible and excellent as standard is a priority for me”, she completed.
