Jason’s Sourdough, the UK’s leading sourdough brand, has expanded its presence in Tesco with the launch of a new range of premium ready-to-eat toasties, now available in 355 stores nationwide.
Building on the success of its Hot Food-To-Go toasties introduced earlier this year in travel and foodservice outlets, the brand has reimagined the concept for retail take-home, catering to growing consumer demand for convenient, high-quality meals.
The new toasties—Ham Hock & West Country Mature Cheddar and Three Cheese—are stocked in Tesco’s chilled Snacking and Savouries category alongside established names such as Ginsters, Pukka and Rustlers. Each toastie is made using Jason’s signature white sourdough Ciabattin and can be prepared in five minutes using a grill, oven, air fryer or panini press.
*ason’s Sourdough Toasties (RRP £3.75):
* Ham Hock & West Country Cheddar – Slow-cooked pulled ham hock with mature West Country cheddar and Dijon mustard on Jason’s white sourdough Ciabattin.
* Tangy & Mature Three Cheese – A blend of Emmental, cheddar and Italian hard cheese on Jason’s white sourdough Ciabattin.
With more than a century of baking heritage, Jason’s Sourdough blends traditional craft with modern innovation. Each toastie is made using the brand’s slow-fermented sourdough starter, creating the distinctive tang and texture that defines its products. The range features slow-cooked meats, aged Cornish cheddar, and full-flavoured sauces—crafted without seed oils or gums.
The launch underlines Jason’s Sourdough’s commitment to artisanal quality and flavour-led innovation, offering shoppers convenient yet premium bakery options. As consumer appetite for sourdough and high-quality baked goods continues to grow, the brand reinforces its position as the UK’s No.1 sourdough label and a key challenger in the premium bakery sector.
