ProSweets Cologne Anticipates Good Sign-up Figures
For the next ProSweets Cologne, taking place in February 1-4, 2015, the international supplier trade fair for the confectionery industry, organisers announced, on June 16, a strong exhibitor participation is once again expected, both from home and abroad.
In addition to numerous re-registrations, new exhibitors were also gained in all product segments. Some providers will also be increasing their stand space. ProSweets Cologne shows the entire range of supplies required for the production, processing and packaging of confectionery. ProSweets Cologne will again take place at the same time as the ISM (International Sweets and Biscuits Fair).
Many companies have already confirmed their participation in ProSweets Cologne 2014, including lots of well-known suppliers.
The international supplier trade fair is bringing together technology, machinery and equipment for the confectionery industry.
Equipment Exhibitors
The range of production machinery and equipment on offer is once again extensive. Among others, the following companies will be represented here: Aasted ApS Bühler AG, Carle & Montanari S.p.A., Royal Duyvis Wiener B.V., Haas Food Equipment GmbH, Hänsel Processing GmbH, Hosokawa Bepex GmbH, Knobel Maschinenbau AG, NETZSCH-Feinmahltechnik GmbH and Sollich KG.
In the area of packaging machines ACMA S.p.a., Robert Bosch GmbH, Cavanna S.p.A., Fuji Packaging GmbH, Gerhard Schubert GmbH, Kallfass Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH, Loesch Verpackungstechnik GmbH and Theegarten-Pactec GmbH & Co. KG have all signed up to participate again.
Packaging and Food Safety
For the area of packaging and packaging materials ESBE Plastic GmbH, Novacart S.p.A. and PAWI Verpackungen AG will also be participating again. Klann Packaging und Metsä Board will be returning to ProSweets Cologne again in 2015.
In the area of raw materials and ingredients GNT International BV, NOREVO GmbH, Stearinerie Dubois Fils and Ulmer Schokoladen will be represented. The company Döhler will be taking part in ProSweets Cologne for the first time.
The secondary areas such as food safety/quality management and operational and auxiliary equipmen will be represented by Hans Brunner GmbH, Heuft Systemtechnik GmbH and Mafo Cleaning Equipment BV.
Among the more than 25 new applications for ProSweets 2014 are Döhler, Hamburg Dresdner Maschinenfabriken, Holland Ingredients, Brunner AG, ENOL Folien GmbH, Cardbox Packaging, Firex SRL, Sensus BV and Bilwinco A/S.
First-time Exhibitors
Furthermore, the newcomer areas which have been newly erected for ProSweets Cologne will be available for first-time registrations. In the supporting programme, as well as the established “Speakers Corner” and the “FutureLab”, there will for the first time also be a “Science Park”, where universities and other scientific institutes will be able to present their research findings.
In conjunction with the ISM, the International Sweets and Biscuits Fair Cologne, ProSweets Cologne covers the entire value chain in confectionery production – an internationally unique constellation. ProSweets Cologne is sponsored by the Federal Association of the German Confectionery Industry (BDSI), Sweets Global Network e.V. (SG), the German Agricultural Society (DLG e.V.) and the CentralCollege of the German Confectionery Industry (ZDS).
