Bakery Siberia International Exhibition will be held on 27-29 November 2014 in Novosibirsk, showcasing a booming market.
The market of bread, bakery and confectionery products is one of the largest segments of the food industry in Russia. In 2013, this market grew by 17.5%.
Siberian Federal District is one of the leading regions for the production of bakery and confectionery products. The market share of the county is more than 11% of total Russian production.
One of the factors hindering the further development of the baking industry is the high level of depreciation of machinery and equipment, which is today it estimated at more than 50%. More than half of the newly purchased equipment is imported.
Bakery Siberia International Exhibition, one of the biggest events in Siberia, bringing together professionals in the baking and confectionery industries, manufacturers and suppliers of equipment and technology, food ingredients, raw materials and finished products, will be held in the centre of Russia in Novosibirsk on November 27-29, 2014.
The event is supported by the leading Russian professional associations and industrial research institutes:
- Russian Union of Bakers,
- Union of Producers of Food ingredients,
- Union of the Bakery and Confectionery Companies of Siberia,
- Research Institute of Baking industry,
- Research Institute for the confectionery industry.
The exhibition will showcase the latest achievements in the industry: new equipment and technologies for the production of bread and baking, modern ingredients and raw materials, as well as all the variety of bread, cakes and sweets.
The business program will include:
- conferences, seminars and panel discussions within the framework of the Siberian Bakery and Confectionary Forum;
- presentation of innovative products from participating companies;
- professional competitions among the best bakery experts;
- performances from the best pastry and bakery chefs;
- workshops and performances from the culinary schools from Europe;

Premiere events
For the first time in Russia, the National Selection for the 5th Mondial du Pain International Bakery Contest will take place during Bakery Siberia.The jury of the contest selects two best bakers that will represent the country during the 5th Mondial du Pain International Bakery Contest (Saint Etienne, France).
All the events are addressed to the managers and specialists of bakery and confectionery industries, experts of companies engaged in supplying of equipment and raw materials for bakers and confectioners, as well as representatives of the catering industry, wholesale and retail trade.
